California student performance improving; Alhambra above average

Student performance in California high schools continues to improve with a 72% passing rate in math and 73% in English compared to 70% and 71% respectively last year, according to the latest CAHSEE report released on August 24th. School districts with high Asian populations have close-to-perfect passing rates. Grade 10 students in the Alhambra Unified School District has passing rates of 97% and 87% in math and English, respectively.
