The infrastructure of the Alhambra parade float is completed and volunteers wait in anticipation for the last weekend before the Rose Parade to apply decorations, the World Journal reports. Because the flowers are subjected to a shorter lifespan, the final decorations must wait until the week before the parade to be applied to ensure freshness. Mark Paulson told the World Journal that the scale of the float this year is greater than the previous years so more volunteers are needed, and he welcomes interested individuals from the Chinese community to participate.
Independent journalism is a bedrock of democracy--and it's in crisis. Here at the Alhambra Source, we're committed to covering the local stories that matter most to you. We don’t have advertisers and we don’t have pay walls, but we do have bills. You read to the end of this story. That's great. But this kind of journalism will end without public support. Join us!
