Alhambra residents oppose the construction of high-speed railway

Alhambra City Council members and about 100 Alhambra residents gathered recently in the city hall where the California High-Speed Railway Authority (CHSRA) reaffirmed the potential benefit of the railway. CHSRA told residents that the high-speed railway will improve traffic condition in the city and greatly reduce travel time between Los Angeles and San Diego. However, residents don't seem to be convinced. One Alhambra resident in the audience told World Journal that the railway will cause undesired noise and reduce property price in the neighborhood.
