Alhambra man sentenced on tax, theft charges

"An Alhambra man was sentenced Monday to 21 months in federal prison for theft of bank funds and failure to file a tax return," the Pasadena Star-News reports. "Zheng Wang, 42, was also ordered by U.S. District Judge George H. Wu to pay restitution of $253,549 to East West Bank and $87,920 to Wells Fargo Bank and to spend three years on supervised release after serving his prison sentence, according to the Internal Revenue Service."
