The Alhambra City Council announced yesterday that the city will start a maintenance project of the underground pipes that have been in use since 1923. Mayor Yamauchi also announced that the week of Mar. 20 to 26 this year will be designated as the Childhood Cancer Awareness Week. The City Council and Kids Cancer Connection will design educational campaigns to spread awareness of childhood cancer.
