ACLU suing state of California for extra fees; Alhambra student says he has to pay for locker use

The American Civil Liberties Union is suing the state of California for allowing public schools to charge students for text books, basic supplies and classes. Wu, a student in a local Alhambra high school, told the World Journal that the school started charging students for locker use this September. But Alhambra was not among the 50 school districts named in the lawsuit.
