How will the DOMA and Prop 8 rulings impact you? / ¿Cómo cree que las resoluciones afectarán usted? /

In a historic vote Wednesday the Supreme Court took down a section of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) that denied legally married same-sex couples federal benefits like Social Security and veterans' benefits. The court also ruled that the case in support of Proposition 8 had no legal standing, indirectly legalizing gay marriage in California by upholding a decision by a lower court that struck down the state amendment. Many have criticized the Supreme Court, however, arguing that it evaded the bigger issue of gay marriage by dismissing the Prop 8 case. Alhambra Source wants to know what you think.
