Hillary Clinton to fundraise in San Gabriel

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will kick off “Asian American and Pacific (AAPI) Islander for Hillary” in San Gabriel and attend a series of fundraisers on Thursday in Los Angeles.

Clinton will hold the free public event alongside Democratic Rep. Judy Chu, chairwoman of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, and other AAPI elected officials and community leaders at 11:45a.m. at Hilton San Gabriel. She will also attend a $2700-per-person luncheon in San Gabriel at 12:30p.m. The purpose of these events is to “engage, energize and organize AAPI voters,” according to a press release from Clinton’s party.

She will also attend a “family celebration” reception on Thursday afternoon at Jim Henson Studios in Los Angeles. The tickets for this event ranges from $500 to $2700.

  1. She didnt come here to campaign, she came here to raise money. Democrats don’t have to worry about getting the vote from California, but they know where the money is.
