A limited number of additional copies of “Alhambra Source: Voices from the New American Suburb" are now available.
The full-color collection features stories by more than 40 Source contributors, ranging from high school students to retirees, whose unique perspectives provide an insider view on the city. Stories are divided into five sections curated from five years of local reporting: Coming of Age in an Ethnoburb, Exploring Food, Making Connections, Finding Faith, and Taking a Stand.
"The collection demonstrates how community members can tell Alhambra stories and impact their community in a way that no traditional newsroom or reporter from the outside possibly could," Alhambra Source founding editor Daniela Gerson wrote in the introduction to the book.
