Gen Korean BBQ House opened its doors in Alhambra on Dec. 27, L.A. Eater reports. The branch of the popular Tustin restaurant replaced Tony Roma's on Main Street and Garfield Avenue.
The San Gabriel Valley has been a difficult area for Korean barbecue restaurants, according to L.A. Eater: "No Korean chain has been able to successfully penetrate the SGV, and Gen BBQ is the first to fire the beef volley."
The beef volley includes bulgogi, galbi, kobe, and steak. Chicken, pork, calamari, and even cheese fondue are also on the menu.
