Fake cable guys target Alhambra

Two men were arrested after posing as Time-Warner Cable repairman on Friday, according to a statement Alhambra Police released Sunday. The incident occurred at the 2000 block of South Stoneman Avenue at about 4 p.m. Friday.

Police responding to the call apprehended Perre Michael Chang, 30, of Laguna Niguel, and Daniel Wardming Quon, 26, of Pasadena, and arrested them on suspicion of burglary. They were held Sunday on $50,000 bail each.

Alhambra Police believe the suspects may be responsible for other crimes, noting a slight increase in burglaries in August.
