Independence Day falls on a Monday this year, meaning one long weekend of celebration. If you're staying in town to celebrate, you're in luck! Festivities start at 2:00 pm on Monday at Almansor Park, followed by fireworks at 9 that evening.
Food served will include shaved ice, pulled pork and ribs, tacos, kettle corn, fruit juice, waffles, rice noodles, Boba, dumplings, pork buns, thai food, and roasted corn. Vendors include Timothy Gray, Brenda's Tacos, Hulapop Kettle Corn, Waffleland, King Ding's Finest Fried Bun, Salvador Roasted Corn, Pattaraporn Lorwatcharasophon and Serenity.
Booths will be run by various organizations like American Legion Post #139, All Souls Youth Ministry and Alhambra High School Moor Football. Participating high school groups include the Associated Student Body (ASB), Alhambra Dance Group, Latin American Student Organization and All Male Dance.

Overnight Parking Enforcement will be suspended beginning Saturday July 2nd through Tuesday July 5th. Overnight Parking Enforcement will resume on Wednesday July 6th at 2:00 AM.
Street Sweeping and Time Zone Enforcement will be suspended on July 4th. Street Sweeping and Time Zone Enforcement will resume on Tuesday July 5th.
