Everest College in Alhambra gets new president

Everest College named Vickie Schemel president of its Alhambra campus earlier this month. Schemel will lead the career-oriented school on Mission Road and Date Avenue, which recently expanded to include courses in business office administration, business sales, and customer service.

“I look forward to helping the Alhambra campus grow and expand as we add new programs and continue to focus on helping our students receive a quality education,” Schemel said in a press release from the school.

Schemel was campus president and director of education at the college's Torrance location and academic dean at the City of Industry campus, according to the press release. Everest College has 12 campuses in Southern California and 100 schools in the United States and Canada.
