“THE TOYS THAT MADE US” Panel & Screening presented by TOY-ZILLA

Alhambra , CA United States

If you’re a toy collector, a documentary enthusiast or a human with a pulse you have Netflix and you have seen The Toys That Made Us. The eight-part documentary series covers the untold history of the world’s most enduring toy lines, with the first four episodes focusing on Masters of the Universe, G.I. Joe, Barbie and Star Wars. The next four episodes covering Transformers, Hello Kitty, Lego, and Star Trek will air later this year but fans don’t have to wait that long to get the inside scoop on the show! Series creator Brian Volk-Weiss will hold a free panel at Alhambra’s newest toy store TOY-ZILLA Saturday February 10th from 2pm to 3:30pm. He will be screening the original pilot that sold the show and other never-before-seen-footage. As a huge toy fanatic himself Volk-Weiss will be happy to talk toys, discuss the making of the show and the future of the series. Before and after the panel attendees will be able to view and purchase toys from TOY-ZILLA, many from the same toy lines featured on the show. The event is expected to sell out so attendees are encouraged to get free tickets from www.TOY-ZILLA.com. The store is located at 201 E. Bay State St. Alhambra CA 91801 and is open everyday. Check website for hours.
