Catch a screening of the 1975 cult classic,’The Rocky Horror Picture Show,’ at the Mission Playhouse Friday evening, October 18th at 11:59pm! Doors open at 11:00pm.
Newly engaged couple Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) are on their way to tell their former college professor, whose class they met in, about their exciting news. They run into some car trouble and Brad decides they should visit the castle that they passed on their drive to call for help. When they arrive at the castle, they meet a colorful cast of characters including a ghoulish butler named Riff Raff (Richard O’ Brien) and the mad scientist Dr. Frank N. Furter (Tim Curry) and have a night that “they were going to remember for a very long time.”
You may bring props into the theater. Large backpacks/bags are not allowed.
This screening doesn’t include a live shadowcast, however there will be a costume contest immediately after the showing with prizes awarded to the top 3!
The running time of the film is 1 hour, 41 minutes. This movie is rated R. Under 17 requires an accompanying parent/guardian.
