Hello Lovely Community!!
Hope this finds you well and you’ve enjoyed our popularity this past Pride Month. Since we at the San Gabriel Valley LGBTQ Center feel the pride everyday, we want to invite you to join us for a community celebration of ALL our growth this first half of 2018!!
Things to Celebrate:
We’ve TRIPLED our board size and social media members
New regular activities like Film night, Fitness Classes, and our community BBQueers
We have increased our visibility by doing local outreach at Fairs in cities like El Monte, Avocado Heights, and Covina.
New collaborations and Safe Zone training with organizations such as Boys & Girls Club, Children’s Advocacy Center, and city councils.
Things to look forward to the rest of the year:
Relocating to a space with regular business hours to call our own
New monthly collaborations at local coffee shops, bars, and restaurants.
First time events like Youth Homecoming Dance, Senior Soc Hop, and Drag Tupperware party!
New support programs for immigrant/first generation, parents, and academia.
None of this would be possible without the support of volunteers like you! Thank you for all you have done, and continue to do to help grow this community!!!!
Please join us at Arcadia Park (Corner of Huntington Drive and Santa Anita Ave by the fountain) 11am-Sundown this Sunday July 1st for sharing food, laughs, and experiences. Every BBQueer has been a great day of meeting new friends and growing our visibility out in the communities. The park is a 10 minute walk from the Arcadia Metro Station – Gold Line, and there is plenty of parking in the lots and on the street.
Suggested items to bring according to the first letter of your last name:

Thank you again for your time and sharing your hearts with us.
It has been a wonderful experience watching this community grow, and we look forward to a future of building even more outreach and memories.
