San Gabriel Dumpling and Beer Fest

Alhambra , CA United States

San Gabriel is known for its delicious, authentic Asian cuisine and one of the hottest foods in the city is dumplings. Many of the amazing dumpling spots in San Gabriel have been recognized by restaurant critics and food bloggers including the Los Angeles Time’s Jonathan Gold. At the same time, the craft beer scene has taken off in recent years, and beer festivals are a popular weekend activity. The San Gabriel Dumpling & Beer Fest is an annual event that brings those two great loves together.

Our third annual Dumpling and Beer Fest will take place Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 6pm to 10pm in the Historic Mission District on Mission Drive between Broadway and Santa Anita.

The festival offers dumpling vendors and craft beer tastings, making a fun night for the community to come together at our local twist on Oktoberfest. There will also be live entertainment. This year’s event will include a larger event area as well as a Best Dumpling Competition and Dumpling Eating Contest. The event is free to attend. Attendees may buy food from food trucks and vendors directly. For beer samplings, a wristband must be purchased.

To view beer sampling prices, to purchase wristbands, or to enter in our Dumpling Eating Contest please visit our Eventbrite page and don’t forget to share this event with friends on Facebook!

For questions regarding the event please contact the Economic Development Division at (626) 308-2826, Ext. 221.
