LA County’s new Safe Clean Water Program is currently deciding how and where it will invest about $300 million each year in multi-benefit green stormwater capture projects. Over the next two months, local Watershed Areas Steering Committees will be deciding how the program allocates the millions of dollars newly available for these innovative, community-focused water projects. The program is designed to make its funding decisions based on community input. To do that, they need to hear from residents and communities about what is most important to places like Alhambra. Please join residents and clean water advocates at an upcoming meeting at LA County Public Works and speak out for what you want to see.
