City Seeks Volunteers for the 2020 Alhambra Homeless Count

The City is looking for volunteers for the 2020 Greater LosAngeles Homeless Count!

The Count will take place in Alhambra on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Those interested in volunteering can sign upat www.theycountwillyou.org.

Each year, the City of Alhambra in partnership with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), conduct a Homeless Count to provide a snapshot of one of the most underserved and vulnerable populations in the community. The count is used to gather data and demographics, and help establish funding allocations to provide services and assistance to those who are experiencing homelessness.

Those looking to volunteer can visit www.theycountwillyou.org to register to volunteer for the City of Alhambra’s 2020 Homeless Count or for more information. Volunteers will meet in Reese Hall at the Alhambra Civic Center Library, 101 South 1st Street, Alhambra, CA 91801, prior to the beginning of the count to receive a briefing and instructions from Homeless Count coordinators.
