The Certified Farmers Market at The Alhambra is open to tenants and members of the community. The farmers market was created to give tenants the opportunity to shop on campus during business hours, and to provide Alhambra community members access to a local farmers market during the week. Vendors will be selling fresh fruit, vegetables, beverages, and a variety of grab and go prepared foods. The market provide tables, chairs and a shade structure for people to sit, eat and socialize. Visitors can access ample free parking on Date Avenue.
Farmers
YNT Farms: citrus, grapes, nectarines, peaches, avocados, stone fruits; Rancho Santa Cecilia Farms: Cherimoya (specialty item) hard to grow; Divine Harvest: lettuce, carrots, strawberries, eggs, different kinds for mustard greens; Harris Parries: local honey since 1980; Nancy Garden: local organic vegetable grower and organic eggs (farmer within Los Angeles County); Torrez Garden: local orchard grower plants; Patty Farms: local flower grower (Riverside); Torres Garden: local plant and succulent grower (LA County); Castellanos Farms: stone fruit; Alverez Farms: nuts and grapes.
Food Vendors
Amy Pancakes: authentic Chinese cuisine (beef noodle soup, dry noodles, popcorn chicken, milk tea); Rub 45: BBQ ribs, tri-tip, pulled pork; Yalla Hummus: hummus and yogurt; Zingo’s Tacos: local restaurant with awesome tacos; Savvy Smoothies: smoothies using organic ingredients, organic salads grown by Nancy’s Garden; Woo’s Crepe: various sweet and savory crepes; Hula Pop Kettle: kettle corn; Avo-Co: olive oil; Bon Jour Yogurt: Greek yogurt; Riggos Nut: variety of packaged nuts and bread; Pupusas Del My: pupusas and agua frescas.
