OLD PASADENA SUMMER CINEMA, JULY 5 – JULY 27

Old Pasadena Summer Cinema returns for another year as a month-long, FREE movie series featuring screenings in unique urban settings. Running from July 5 – July 27, this annual summer film program features a variety of audience-pleasing movie titles and genres in two outdoor locales in the historic district of Old Pasadena: Central Park and One Colorado. All screenings are free and open to the public.

Four outdoor screenings in historic Central Park include special free activities, Paradis Ice Cream (while supplies last), DJ music, and the chance to picnic in the picturesque setting prior to each film – bring your own low chairs and blankets for seating. The screenings are in partnership with Human Services and Recreation – City of Pasadena. Films begin at 8:30pm with pre-activities starting at 6:30pm.

One Colorado is another open-air option, with films projected in the charming courtyard. Look for family favorites like Enchanted, Monsters, Inc., and Coco; action-adventure films like Ocean’s 8 and Captain America: Civil War; and the classic Jack Black comedy Nacho Libre. Several One Colorado restaurants offer promotions, dinner packages, and pop-up bars. Seating is provided at but be sure to arrive early to secure your spot.
