2019 Downtown Alhambra Tree Lighting Ceremony

1 E Main St
Alhambra , CA 91801

The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Downtown Alhambra will be kicking off the holiday season into high gear. This year the festivities take place on Friday, DECEMBER 6, from 6pm – 9pm; and will again be located at Edward’s Renaissance Plaza at 1 East Main St., on the corner of Garfield and Main.

The Downtown Alhambra Business Association (DABA), in concert with the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce, is presenting this event and hopes to draw more consumer traffic to the area. Pop-up holiday vendors will be on site, and patrons can enjoy the local eateries and stores nearby.

Families can also take free photos with Santa, while watching some holiday-themed entertainment from the PopRock Academy , and the Daurden Performing Arts Conservatory, who will be performing “The Nutcracker.”

Designated “deposit boxes” will be located at both events so that people can donate a toy or gift certificate to the Alhambra Fire Department’s Spark of Love Toy Drive, also an annual tradition.
