Driver found with 25 small bags of heroin in pocket, arrested in Alhambra

A motorist was was arrested on 2:55am Wednesday after officers found 25 small bags of heroin in his pocket, reports the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
Authorities believe that Alejandro Fuentes, 31, had intended to distribute the drugs. 
Police had notice Fuentes’ car in the lot of a closed medical office on Valley Blvd and Marguerita Ave. When they approached Fuentes, he started driving away. He was pulled over a short distance later. There were three other passengers in his car; they were not arrested. 
His bail was set at $30,000.
