  1. public works knows that main street is very dangerous but they will not adjust the timing for pedestrians crossing at fremont and main, or put in stop signs , or additional safe crosswalks, change that statement, there are no safe cross walks in alhambra, or even the flashing lights that denote that some one is trying to cross the street, shame on alhambra’s department of public works and their arrogance toward pedestrians and bicyclists.

  2. 5 Hit n Runs, 31 traffic accidents, all in Alhambra? Where is the law enforcement? A certain hit n run will occur at the corner of Commonwealth & Fremont – cars driving eastbound on Commonwealth making a left turn – south on Fremont – try to beat the light & many times they continue making their turn even while pedestrains are still in the crosswalk & those lights change too fast for pedestrains to cross Fremont – I have almost been hit several times & I have seen other pedstrains scramble to avoid cars making a left turn going south on Fremont.Afriad to cross bust streets in Alhambra, lights change too fast for pedestrains.HELP!!!!

  3. Than seems an awful lot of accidents for an 8 day period. Now imagine all the close calls that just missed being accidents. That equals a whole lot of really bad drivers in a small area. I wonder how much higher my car insurance rates are living in Alhambra Vrs. say South Pasadena.

    1. $200.00… my Ins. agent told me. 31 is the highest % in LA county… I CHECKED!! Something needs to be done!!
