Council is set to vote on and approve a number of contracts that will initiate infrastructure improvement projects within the city.
Among the number of items on the consent agenda, there is a resolution that will authorize City Manager Mary Swink to sign off on all agreements and documents to start a construction project on Mission Road. The project, expected to reach upwards of $2.8 million, will be paid for with federal funds. Construction will extend from Garfield Ave to the west city limits on Mission Road.
Council will also vote to allow city staff to send out a request for proposals. The request will be sent to find a contractor to manage the repair and replace of water mains on Westmont Drive between Sherwood and Norwich Avenues.
The city is also expected to grant a contract to General Pump Company Inc. for a rehabilitation project, and extend a contract with AKM Consulting Engineers by three months to account for project delays.
