Alhambra Orders Closure of City Hall in Response to COVID-19

Alhambra's action came shortly after L.A. City and County officials ordered nonessential businesses to close and urged new limits on sizes of gatherings. In Alhambra, emergency Police and Fire services will continue to operate as well as ACT Bus and Senior Ride service, trash, water and public works.

COVID-19 Death Reported In Pasadena Area; Here Are Updates In The SGV

L.A. County's second death was in the Pasadena-area. The deceased is a man with underlying health issues, between the ages of 30 and 50, according to the health department. The county's message: coronavirus is here and everyone needs to respond for the good of the community. SGV cities are preparing – check out their resources.

Coronavirus Resources and Support; New Cases in The Last 48 Hours

There have been 96 new cases of coronavirus in the last 48 hours — 50 on Tuesday and 46 on Wednesday, according to the L.A. County Department of Public Health. The takeaway: focus on social distancing and aiding those who are most vulnerable, not the numbers as they increase. "Today, our county is standing together, but six feet apart," Supervisor Hilda Solis observed.
