L.A. County Health: SGV is Under-Tested, New “Close Contact” Guidelines from CDC and New High in Deaths
The L.A. County Department of Public Health said the SGV is being under-tested. The CDC says to go back 48 hours for notification of "close contacts" and other guidelines. Wednesday's briefing discloses second straight day of double-digit death tolls and highs in caseload.
L.A. County Health Director Barbara Ferrer reported the new death figures and said 18 skilled nursing facilities reported three or more cases.
