Alhambra Unified schools will receive $259 million in bond money from the passing of Measures AE and HS.
Both the high school and elementary school bonds passed with voter support at 76 percent, counting all votes from 80 precincts.
A master plan for all schools will be in the works to assess each school's needs and an oversight committee will be created to ensure that the bond money will be used appropriately.
Independent journalism is a bedrock of democracy--and it's in crisis. Here at the Alhambra Source, we're committed to covering the local stories that matter most to you. We don’t have advertisers and we don’t have pay walls, but we do have bills. You read to the end of this story. That's great. But this kind of journalism will end without public support. Join us!
