"Best Meat in Town" perhaps, but something is missing

[email protected] are portraits of the City of Alhambra and the people who go about their lives here.

Fisher’s Market is a neighborhood grocer and self-proclaimed “Best Meat In Town.” The missing letter caught photographer Keith Skelton’s attention. "I walked through that neighborhood many time capturing moments and incongruities. In this case the missing "S" mades for a humorous statement," said Skelton.

The photo: Fisher’s Market on Alhambra Road has served Alhambra since 1982. Keith Skelton took the photo as part of a series on East Los Angeles and something to add to his iPhoneography gallery.

The photographer: We found Keith Skelton on Flickr and more of his work can be found at his portfolio site. Skelton has been a commercial, documentary and fine art photographer for over 30 years. “My work is my hobby,” he says.
