Assemblyman Eng opens doors to new Alhambra office

Alhambra , CA 91801 United States

State Assemblyman Mike Eng hosted an open house last Sunday for his new district office on South Chapel Avenue in Alhambra.

Eng said that the reason he left his previous location in El Monte for Alhambra was that the city is ideally located for bringing his office closer to constituents living in the western portion of his district, and noted that Alhambra had a vibrant business community. Other cities in the 49th Assembly District, which Eng represents, are El Monte, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, and South El Monte.

Eng also outlined his goals for this term, which will be his last due to Assembly term limits. “My priorities include air and water clean-up, adult education, and stopping bullying in schools,” said Eng, adding that he would be to continue to support completion of the 710 Freeway and help grow the economy.

Eng's office staff is available to assist local residents with matters relating to all state functions, ranging from the Department of Motor Vehicles to the various state social services agencies.
