The HOT SPOT Free Summer Night Series

The HOT SPOT Free Summer Night Series

The HOT SPOT offers music, fashion, art, and dance. The second annual Hot Spot begins August 6th through 27th. It will be held every Saturday from 5 p.m to 8 p.m at the Renaissance Plaza, northeast corner of Garfield and Main. August 6 will kick off the Hot Spot with a double music event from noon to 4 p.m. An exhibition of bands will introduce some of the new talent emerging in the San Gabriel Valley. Marini Music will raffle off a "Dean EVO 1000 electric guitar, and the winner will be announced 4 p.m that day. August 13 will offer a fashion show that will highlight the business of Downtown Alhambra. Each of the five walks will convey a different look and a different attitude. It's all about art for the third Hot Spot taking place August 20. There will be live art, body art, children's drawing, poetry, tattoos, chalk art, and more. August 27 will be wrapping up the 2011 Hot Spot with dance. There will be music, dance classes, and guest surprises. To participate as a vendor, send an email to [email protected] for more information.
