Hello Alhambra residents!The Drawing Club is a weekly costume drawing workshop that has been running since 2002 in LA, by Art Center Associate Professor, Bob Kato and has made its new home at Alhambra's Gallery Nucleus. The Drawing Club is a place for artists to create story and characters by observing real life models. It features drawing workshops every Thursday night, 7-10pm and 3 hour painting sessions are once a month usually on the 3rd Sunday, 10am-1pm.Our next session will be one long pose, on Sunday, January 25th, 9am-12pm. Doors open 8:30am for early set-up.The theme is Vincent Van Gogh!Artists of all skill levels are welcome to join us and it's a great place to meet other artists, get inspired, and enjoy a great Thursday night or Sunday morning drawing! Please bring your own supplies.It's 20 dollar per session, cash and check accepted.Refreshments/ coffee and snacks are served.Also, those who attend the workshop will get 15% off at all Nucleus merchandise during the session, so pop by and get a cool art book while you're there.Our previous workshop was our third workshop of this year, with the theme, Mob Wives.
