The 11th Annual Got Skills! Talent Show

Rosemead, CA – Pacific Clinics – Asian Pacific Family Center and the San Gabriel Valley Alcohol and Other Drugs Prevention and Policy Youth Council will host the 11th Annual Got Skills! Talent Show on Friday, May 11th, 2012 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Barnes Park Amphitheater in Monterey Park, CA. This substance-free event is organized for the youth by the youth to promote the idea that young people can have fun without using alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. We will give away free T-shirts, drinks, and other giveaways to the audience throughout the night!

This year, we will feature 12 contestants ranging from ages 12 to 18. Our MC’s and judges include, rapper/songwriter Tu Ben Ngo aka MaJik, musician Rob aka Kaliq Scott, dancer Misty RasconSmith, rapper/songwriter James “Toestah” To, and more to be announced.

First place winner receives $200, second place winner earns $100 and third place winner takes home $50. Our event is supported by Monterey Park Police Department-Crime Impact Team, LA County Friday Night Live Partnership, Man-E Moreno Foundation, Prive Water, and Whole Foods Market Arroyo. 

Tickets are on sale now $3 presale and can be purchased at Asian Pacific Family Center. They may also be purchased for $5 at the door on the day of the event.
