Celebrate with Soroptimist International of Alhambra San Gabriel San Marino at the Annual Recruitment and Information luncheon on February 9 from 12:15 to 1:30 at Almansor Court, 700 South Almansor in Alhambra at the Municipal Golf Course. Guests are free. 
Learn about the Club’s achievements during the past year such as the “Dream It Be It” which selected eighth grade students from the Alhambra Unified School District for a curriculum providing them with tools and skills to successfully transition into their high school years, to develop dreams for the future, and to set goals that will help them achieve their dreams. The club also distributes books to third graders; gives financial assistance to single head of household women who have encountered and overcome life challenges and who are continuing their education on the Live Your Dream program; assists with the care of Soroptimist Village, a community of 60 seniors with a limited income. 
The club also provides service awards to the AAUW, Downtown Women’s Center, the CSULA Veterans Resource enter, East Los Angeles Women’s Center, Pregnancy Help Center, the YMCA, and La Casa de San Gabriel. 
Join the club for lunch and learn more about their goals of helping women and girls achieve their potential—and hopefully, their dreams.
