Soroptimist International Fashion Show – Nov 20

Your first stop should be at the Holiday Fashion Show and Luncheon on Sunday, November 20, at Almansor Court, 700 South Almansor in Alhambra, sponsored by Soroptimist International of Alhambra San Gabriel San Marino, an organization dedicated to helping women and girls.

“This is an annual event with about three hundred people attending. We have wonderful vendors for clothes and jewelry–it’s a great way to buy holiday gifts, get a vacation wardrobe–and have lots of fun,” said Soroptimist President Dr. Gay Toltl Kinman.

The event begins at 11 a.m., with shopping and silent auction bidding on an array of holiday baskets. Luncheon will be served at noon, with the fashion show beginning at 1 p.m. Door prize tickets will be sold at the event for the over sixty prizes, followed by a live auction for tickets to Disneyland, tea at The Huntington Library, and other special treats.

Tickets are $55. Tables of 10 are available for $550 which includes a $50 credit for a half screen ad on the rotating promo display. A full screen ad is $100. The ads will be shown many times during this holiday event—and will be professionally designed for free by Jane Carlson, a graphic artist.

For ad purchase, reservations and information go to [email protected] or www.sialhambra.org, or call 626-286-3066, or mail to P. O. Box 343, Alhambra CA 91802.
