Smoke-Free Alhambra Community Meeting on 5/30/13, 3:30pm
Location
Joslyn Senior Center
Now that smoking is no longer allowed inside workplaces, restaurants and bars, how do we protect our health and the health of our family members from the harmful health effects associated with breathing tobacco smoke in outdoor settings?
Recent public opinion survey data of more than 500 Alhambra residents revealed that 94.2% have been exposed to secondhand smoke in outdoor areas and 98% of all respondents believe it is harmful to their health.
Residents and community leaders that are part of C.A.F.E. or Clean Air For Everyone in Alhambra Coalition are working to have clean smoke-free air where people gather to eat, shop, do business, or play.
Join us in a crucial dialogue about our health.
