Midwick Development to be voted on by Planning Commission — CANCELLED

UPDATED 4.15.14:

The Alhambra Planning Commission will not be conducting a hearing on the City Ventures project during Monday's meeting. The item was removed from the agenda, according to Development Services Director and Assistant City Manager Tara Schultz.

PUBLISHED 4.14.14:

On April 21st at 7 PM, the Alhambra Planning Commission will vote on recommendations to approve the 70 unit development in the Midwick neighborhood.  The meeting takes place in council chambers at 111 S. 1st St, Alhambra.

Front Porch, the current owners has asked the city to approve a Specific Plan authorizing rezoning for the development. The controversial development has been opposed by Preserve Midwick, a local group of residents opposed to the project. 

Residents oppossing or supporting the project are encouraged to come and voice your views.

      To alleviate your concerns, you may want to go to the city website (see link below) and click on the Planning Commission Agenda icon for Mon., Apr 21, 2014.

      The letter that pops up will explain, in further detail, why it was cancelled.
