Clean Air For Everyone in Alhambra Coalition Meeting, 5/30/13, 3:30pm
Location
Joslyn Senior Center
Ever wondered why tobacco smoke is so irritating and suffocating when inhaled? It contains hydrogen cyanide that is also found in all gas chambers.
The CAFE in Alhambra Coalition has in years raised awareness about the dangers of secondhand smoke to both people and the environment. We've done surveys and interviews to assess the issue, and have conducted butt clean-up among many other activities to empower fellow Alhambra residents and visitors to protect themselves from tobacco smoke.
What's NEXT for us to do to enjoy an entirely smoke-free city? Let's talk and snuff tobacco smoke out of Alhambra outdoor areas!
