AUDITIONS for the 11th Annual Got Skills? Talent Show

Rosemead, CA – Pacific Clinics – Asian Pacific Family Center and the San Gabriel Valley Alcohol and Other Drugs Prevention and Policy Youth Council will be hosting the 11th Annual Got Skills! Talent Show.  This is an event for the youth in the San Gabriel Valley to promote the idea that youth can have fun without alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.  We would like the community to support our local youth and the SGV AOD PP Youth Council in their efforts to plan and provide an entertaining activity.  Our event is supported by Monterey Park Police Department, Man-E Moreno Foundation, Los Angeles County Friday Night Live Partnership, and the SGV Community Anti-Drug Network. 

We are hosting auditions for musicians, dancers, actors, poets, and other artists between ages 12 and 18 on:

Wednesday, March 14th, 2012 (3:30-5pm),Tuesday, March 20th, 2012 (3:30-6pm), andThursday, March 29th, 2012 (3:30-6pm)

 

Auditions will be held at Asian Pacific Family Center clubhouse located at:

9353 East Valley Blvd. Rosemead, CA 91770 (intersection of Mission Rd. & Valley Blvd.)

There will be raffle prizes for attendees and cash prizes for contestants: First Place WINNER: $ 200, Second Place WINNER: $ 100, and Third Place WINNER: $ 50.

The event will take place on Friday, May 11h, 2012 at 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Barnes Park in Monterey Park, CA.
