Alhambra Preservation Group 2013 Heritage Home Awards October 17


Everyone is invited to attend APG’s next free event –the presentation of its 2013 Heritage Home Awards on Thursday evening, October 17, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.mThis popular fall meeting showcases the hard work and dedication of four local property owners who have made outstanding contributions to the preservation of Alhambra’s historic architectural resources.  An audio-visual presentation will provide information about the history and background of the four extraordinary homes to be honored, as well as a peek “behind the scenes” at some of the restoration efforts that have preserved or enhanced their unique character.  The event will take place at the Civic Center Library, 101 South First Street.  Light refreshments will be served and ample free parking is available in the library’s underground parking structure.  This year, attendees will have the opportunity to win a $100 gift certificate donated by Habitat for Humanity’s Pasadena ReStore in support of APG’s mission to preserve Alhambra’s architectural heritage.
