The Alhambra Police Department is accepting applications to its 31st Citizens Police Academy. The Citizens Police Academy is a fun, informative, and exciting ten session course introducing citizens to the inner workings of the Alhambra police department and all facets of modern day law enforcement. Each Wednesday night session covers a specific law enforcement topic such as criminal and civil law, patrol procedures, crime scene investigation and others. All topics are taught by veteran law enforcement officers. Participants are even invited to "ride-a-long" with a patrol officer on duty. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Alhambra Police Department between September 24 and December 3, 2014.
