Alhambra's Ritz Tours chosen as official marketing center for Chinese city

Chongqing, a city in Southwest China, has chosen Alhambra's Ritz Tours to be its official tourism center on the West Coast. Executives from the small tourism company, which has been in Alhambra for more than 30 years, announced on Friday that Ritz Tours was chosen because of their prominent tours and activities in Chongqing.

“We are honored that Ritz Tours has been chosen as the representative to undertake the task of promoting Chongqing," said Martin Chan, president of Ritz Tours. "The challenge now is to generate an even greater excitement through various trade and media collaborations, to build more fans for Chongqing, and provide potential visitors with the knowledge of the many leisure options available.”

Ritz Tours opened in Alhambra in 1980 and has since expanded to San Francisco, New York, London, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. The new Chongqing Tourism Marketing Center will be located at their Alhambra location on 208 S. First Street.
