Alhambra to offer free lunch and snacks this summer
Alhambra Department of Community Services will be offering free lunch and snacks this summer for children under 18. Starting June 3 and ending Aug. 9, the Summer Food Services Program — a national initiative from the United States Department of Agriculture to help provide nutritious meals during summer months — also includes activities, arts and crafts, and recreation, and will take place at Alhambra, Almansor, Granada, and Story parks.
The lunch and snack schedule is as follows:
Alhambra Park: 12 -2 p.m., 3:30-4 p.m.Almansor Park: 11:30 a.m-1:30 p.m., 3-4 p.m.Granada Park: 12-2 p.m., 3:30-4 p.m.Story Park: 11 a.m.-1 p.m., 3-4 p.m.
