Alhambra Source's Reporter Corps: Taking steps to reinvigorate local journalism

Alhambra Source recently launched Reporter Corps, a program that trains young adults in journalistic ethics and practice, multimedia storytelling skills, and how their local government works. I recently wrote an article for Online Journalism Review on how the program could be an example for how young people reporting on their own communities could transform local news, particularly in immigrant and underreported communities.
