Alhambra police seek information in deadly accident Monday

A 74-year-old man died of injuries resulting from a car accident Monday at Fremont Avenue just south of the 10 Freeway. His name has not been released.

Police are asking for information about the accident.

"The driver veered to the left, across a lane and struck a wrought-iron gate," the LA Times reports. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Sgt. Gary LaGuard at (626) 570-5119.
