Alhambra police remind residents to party safely on Super Bowl Sunday

The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Denver Broncos Sunday at the 2014 Super Bowl game, and many Alhambra residents will join the nation in cheering or screaming at the television. The Alhambra Police Department posted a reminder for residents Tuesday on Facebook to be safe during Super Bowl Sunday.
"While we are all making our plans to attend a Super Bowl party, let’s also make plans for a designated driver," the police department posted. "The personal foul in football can cost a team 15 yards in penalties while a personal DUI can cost you an average of $10,000 — or more! PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!!"
Will you be cheering on the Seahawks or the Broncos? No matter your team loyalties, Alhambra Source wishes you a fun — and safe — time.
