Alhambra Police Department and Alhambra Unified School District kick off anti-bullying campaign
The Alhambra Police Department and Alhambra Unified School District are kicking off an anti-bullying campaign which aims to bring schools and community together to eliminate bullying.
The City of Alhambra and AUSD will host a kick-off rally at the front steps of Alhambra High School on Monday at 11:30am. Joining the district and the City will be corporate sponsor MobileTREC and professional athletes from Sportz Partnerz, NFL hall-of-famer Warren Moon and Los Angeles Laker Jordan Hill.
"The athletes will deliver a message of compassion and understanding to help bring us to the truth that we all have a hand in every child's success," Alhambra Police Department said in a statement. "In addition to raising anti-bullying awareness, the campaign will raise funds for the Gateway to Success program through competitions held at the schools."
Glad to hear it. I wish we had anti-bullying campaigns back in the 1970s when I was in school.
