The Alhambra Police Department is joining forced with the Alhambra Unified School District’s “Gateway to Success” to launch a new program to help parents with “strong-willed and out of control children.”
The new program, which is called the "Parent Project" and will launch on Tuesday, aims to help parents develop strategies to combat difficult behavioral issues, according to an Alhambra Police Department press release.
The Parent Project is the first of two community outreach programs to launch in October. A Youth Diversion Program is scheduled to begin later this month.
The project will meet weekly at the Alhambra Police Department. Interested participants are encouraged to reserve a seat by calling “Gateway to Success” at (626) 943-3410.
