An Alhambra resident and an accomplice were arrested following a Saturday break-in in Monterey Park, reports
the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
Christopher Molina, 23, is an Alhambra resident who was put on parole in January after he was convicted for vandalism. His accomplice was Trayvon Watson, 21, of Los Angeles.
The burglary happened around 1:20pm at the 1000 block of Hillvale Dr in Monterey Park. While one suspect broke into the house, the other waited in the getaway car, said officials. The suspects fled after an alarm was tripped. A traffic stop led to the apprehension of both suspects.
Molina is being held without bail. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday at the Alhambra Superior Court.
