An Alhambra man was arrested Tuesday for "pimping," according to the Alhambra Police Department.
Officers received several tips regarding a house of possible "ill repute" on the 100 block of South Marguerita Avenue, Alhambra PD posted on Facebook. Officers spoke to resident Zhi Wang at the location, and Wang allowed them to enter the house. Two adult females wearing robes were inside the residence, and officers determined that the women were working for Wang, performing sexual acts for money, according to Alhambra PD.
Wang and both women admitted to using the house for prostitution, the Los Angeles Times reports. The women were not arrested but may face criminal charges at a later date. Wang is set to appear in court on Friday.
